![]() It actually helped me make one of the big decisions at the end. Lol.Īlso let me add that while I enjoy the end of episode/chapter stat screens, being able to look at the stags whenever was cool. There was one part where I thought I’d lose him for good, and I kinda regretted it even though he had just got on my nerves the previous scene. He was irritating but made a lot of sense which sometimes made me question what to decide. I think they could’ve went a bit further with him and explaining everything with him, but he did make choices interesting. But I understand this isn’t a Quantic Dream budget. ![]() I just wish that coming up with different hypotheses would lead to different outcomes or paths. A review I read said they weren’t difficult, but satisfying to figure out and I agree with that. The mind palace and investigation bits were fun and really made me think. It was nice seeing a black woman in the type of role Anna has. Diversity is still something that needs to be worked on, but 1) it’s kinda understandable with the setting and 2) it’s still a step up. The way I was so scared be was gonna chew my ass out after what happened during the confrontation. I also suspected someone else which I think would’ve been a more interesting twist.Ī few characters could’ve been given more time but I think the core three (Sam, Anna and Bug) and Sam’s relationship with both of them were well done. I wasn’t surprised by said person because I didn’t trust them to begin with, but coming to that conclusion could’ve been done better. However, the way the mystery concluded was rushed. I said in the Tell Me Why thread that I didn’t care for that mystery so this was an improvement there. I was actually intrigued by the mystery in this game. Hopefully the growth continues with them expanding. I still think Life Is Strange 2 is DONTNOD’s best work but between this and Tell Me Why, I think DN continues to show how much they’ve grown with their characters and writing. ![]() I definitely think it was short and it felt rushed towards the end, but I was quite enjoyed the experience.
